History:
The year is 1930. Out of nowhere, a string of strange thefts occur across the nation. Dressed up in bizarre costumes such as mummies to Charlie Chaplin, a couple stole all the chocolate from a candy store, the door off a museum, and more oddities. Their plans to continue this crime spree changed after meeting Eve Genoard of the Genoard family. The young heiress was miserable due to her wealth. Isaac and Miria came to the rational conclusion to steal the entire Genoard fortune, believing it would make her happier. Inspired by their own cleverness, they went on a "road of redemption". Which meant robbing the mafia.

Around this time, they formed a few unlikely friendship: Ennis, a homonculus now experiencing friendship for the first time, and the entire Gandor and Martillo crime families. The couple decided to share some bottles of wine with their new friends. Wine they stole from some hooligans. Hooligans that were working for the evil immortal Quates. The Quates that had finally finished making the Elixir of Life, which granted immortality. So Isaac, Miria, and a whole bunch of gangsters became immortal.

WHOOPS.

Thanks to said immortality, Quates was defeated and Isaac and Miria went off to search for gold in California...

...UNTIL 1931, where Isaac and Miria found themselves caught in a chaotic train battle. On this train, they encountered more life-long friends: Czeslaw Meyer (another immortal) and Jacuzzi Splot. Their friendly nature inspired Jacuzzi to save the train and the couple gave Czeslaw to Ennis as a present. Because that's how presents work.

THEN 70 years past and in 2001, the couple finally realized they were immortal.

For the sake of this next part, we have to assume Isaac and Miria eventually died, presumably at the end of the universe. Many years later, the couple was reincarnated in the game Save the Earth.

In this world, the couple were born into stressful home environments that encouraged them to hide their various quirks and act "normal". They met at college and after various sitcom hijinks, became a couple once again.

Then one day, they began to remember events from their past lives. The Earth itself was calling upon various normal people to regain powers of their alternate selves and fight aliens. The couple slowly opened up to their fellow reincarnates, becoming more honest with themselves and letting their general weird behavior flow free. They ended up forming particularly close relationships with a reincarnated Jacuzzi Splot and Rakka, mentioned above. The four began to consider themselves a family as time went on. The stress of fighting aliens began to take a toll on Jacuzzi and he went on its own.

Near the climax of the alien war, evil (or not so evil) clones of various reincarnates were created to fight the heroes. The clones of Isaac and Miria murdered various people, forcing the real couple to avoid police. The clones then decided to taunt the couple by murdering Jacuzzi. Outraged, the couple accidentally used one of the immortal powers on them: Isaac and Miria absorbed the clones into themselves. Now with the memories of the clones inside them, including murdering Jacuzzi, they cut ties with their old friends, fearing their safety.

Personality:
In both their incarnations, Isaac and Miria are weirdos. The duo seems to operate on a unique brand of logic. They come to conclusions that most people would find completely out-of-nowhere. For example, upon being told that there are several angry mobsters killing people on the train, they immediately jump onboard a conclusion that they are in an adventure story. In StE, they didn't see anything strange about their friends being unicorns or having wings. Due to their odd logic, they can completely fail to realize the danger around them. When surrounded by people trying to kill them, they somehow come to the conclusion that the whole situation is an extended magic show. They also managed to spend 67 years living an exciting life before realizing they were immortal.

Despite being different people, they generally function as one person. They talk the same, they often move in unison, they always seem to be on the same page. Its subtly implied that Miria may be the more logical of the two, often asking questions when confused by Isaac's actions. Isaac, in turn, is more of a performer, playing up every situation as perfectly fine, presumably for Miria's benefit. Both are slightly more clever than they let on, but choose not to use this cleverness for fun.

The lovers are completely dedicated to one other. They spend every waking moment together, enjoying the life they’ve made. They commit robberies in various, ridiculous, matching outfits. They encourage each other's ideas and thoughts. There's little to no difference between Isaac or Miria. They constantly have little side discussions right in front of the people they’re talking about. They can't possibly function without the other person in their lives.

This detail is especially important in StE, and makes up the major change in their personality. They lack the same absurd confidence in themselves that the original Isaac and Miria held. In fact, they have crippling self-doubt that no one would ever want to be friends with them if they were "weird". They also fear the possibility of their friends or family being hurt, leading to their decision to disappear after the final fight. However, they hold immense belief in each other, as well as everyone around them. This allows them to be separated without panicking, unlike in canon. They believe in each other enough that they can spend small periods of time apart without freaking out or worrying.

They only think the best of people, expressing immense compassion in everyone. Upon spotting anyone who seems upset, they do their best to cheer them up. They remain loyal to the dearest and nearest of friends, no matter the cost.

All in all, they're loving, if strange and occasionally self-conscious, weirdos. They spend every waking moment of their lives experiencing life to the fullest

Gem Considerations: Isaac's gem would likely best be Carnelian, sometimes called the Actor's Stone. Isaac's big on being dramatic and performing in front of others. Furthermore, carnelians help ease or remove sorrows, one of Isaac's favorite things to do. The stone also brings together love and helps people remember past lives.

Miria is more of a Topaz. Like Carnelian, it brings out creativity, individuality, and love. It also balances emotions and brings joy, which can either balance Isaac's nature or increase it to the max.
