IC Information:
Name: Isaac Dian and Miria Harvent
Canon: Baccano!
Age: Preincarnated age is at some point over 90. Their age here is 32.
Preincarnation Appearance:

Any differences: Other than modern clothing, the only major differences in appearance is that Isaac’s hair is slightly shorter. Miria wears her hair in a ponytail more often.
Preincarnated History: No one is exactly sure where Isaac and Miria came from. Hints suggest that Isaac accidentally pulled Miria away into a world of adventure, much to her relief. At some point in the 1920s to 1930s, Isaac and Miria popped up on the police’s radar after a series of crimes. All of them had been rather petty thefts, stealing trivial objects such as chocolate, candy, and a door. Each of these thefts were committed in costumes of all things! From mummies to Charlie Chaplin, they were always in some kind of outfit. It's because of these costumes that they managed to stay on the run for so long. With their bizarre thefts and peculiarHowever, they decided to steal the Genoard fortune after Eve Genoard told them how miserable she was as a rich heiress. This was when the police started taking their crimes more seriously. Following this, they went on a road of “redemption”, deciding to steal only from local mobsters. Through this, they met several lifelong friends, including Ennis (a homunculus created by the immortal Quates) and the Martillo and Gandor crime families. They also stole two bottles of the Elixir of Life from a group of thugs. They unknowingly ingested the Elixir of Life at a joint Martillo-Gandor party with their new friends.

After this, they spent a year digging for gold in California. Hearing that Ennis was a little lonely without them, they stole from another mafia family and rode the famed “Flying Pussyfoot”. On this train, they met more long-time friends. They introduced themselves to Jacuzzi Splot and Nice’s gang, and also ran into Czeslaw Meyer. Unbeknownst to them, Czeslaw was also an immortal. They somehow managed to escape the chaos that unfolded on that train. They introduced Czelaw to Ennis, who became like brother and sister.

One year later, Isaac was arrested. Before he was captured, he managed to get Miria to safety. He was sent to Alcatraz for his crimes. He maintains his cheery attitude, despite making over ten trips to the dungeons. Isaac met a calm, polite man named Ladd Russo. Finding Ladd to be exceptionally pleasant, he's convinced he made a wonderful new friend. In reality, Ladd is a psychotic mobster who killed dozens of men and women on the Flying Pussyfoot. While normally Ladd would enjoy killing someone who clearly doesn't think he's going to die, Isaac's sheer obviousness wouldn't make the experience worth it. Isaac also encounters a man named Missouri, who encourages Isaac to go straight. Isaac returns to Miria, and they hold off on crime for a few years or so.

Before their reunion, Miria was kidnapped by men from the Nubula Corporation. Unlike Isaac's blissful ignorance in Alcatraz, Miria remains firmly aware that she has been taken captive, although she doesn't know why. She was rescued by Jacuzzi's gang, and soon reunites with Isaac.

In 2001, after stealing a whole bunch of cell phones, Isaac and Miria finally realize they are immortal. Sort of. (Hilariously, they seem to believe they were being reincarnated).

Reincarnated History: As children, Isaac and Miria both loved life, and expressed it frequently. Isaac came up with many haired-brain schemes and ideas. Miria was impulsive and rambunctious, always pulling people into chaotic situations.

A shame they lived in seperate states.

Both of their unique quirks were considered strange by their peers. Isaac's fellow classmates thought he was a freak. Miria's hijinks led teachers and students alike to think she was a troublemaker. They were ostracized from the community at large. Unlike the original duo, they began to worry what other people thought of them.

Life at home wasn't much better. The Dian family tried to support Isaac's tendencies. Eventually, they seemed to give up and encouraged him to just act normal. The Harvent household didn't last nearly as long. Miria was frequently blamed for pranks that she had no part in. Teachers called upon the parents to calm down their brat. Miria found herself shunned by everyone around her. She tried to stand by her lifestyle, but she was only a grade schooler. She finally broke when she was attacked by a group of bullies in front of her own house. She watched her parents close the blinds instead of help.

Isaac and Miria gained a deep-seated fear of being strange. They did everything in their power to appear normal.

Since then, this Isaac and Miria have lived fairly normal lives. They met at college, where attraction was instant. Weeks went by. At some point, Miria let slip something strange. Her stammering and immediate attempts at cover-up led Isaac to believe she wasn't interested. Finally, after a tense friendship for eight months, and a series of sitcom-esque hijinks, they admitted to each other that they were interested.

The first date was awkward, but they soon warmed up to each other. Six years later, they got hitched. After trying a few different college credits and courses, they eventually settled on opening a curiosity shop. They've had a relatively happy marriage for around five and a half years now.
First Echo: It all started at a costume party. Neither Isaac nor Miria had ever dressed up in costume before, at least not since they became too old for Halloween. Friends and neighbors told them that it would the perfect time for them to relax. After all, they never seemed to do anything fun. Thus, they were determined to find matching outfits to enjoy themselves in.

The duo looked far and wide for the perfect themed costume. Finally, when all seemed lost, Miria found a bright red, old west style dress and a cowboy outfit in the back of the shop. It seemed to good to be true!

And so they went to the party in their outfits. They socialized, partied, and even put on a bit of a show on occasion. It was the most fund they'd had in ages. The costumes were a hit!

Despite the fun they were having, they also felt... strange in the outfits somehow. They told themselves it was just the old fabric and the new experience of being in costume.

They convinced themselves that this was the case... until the numbers appeared in their head.

Preincarnation Personality: Isaac and Miria are some of the most clueless and eccentric people on Earth. They spend every waking moment of their lives experiencing life to the fullest. With their immortality, they have plenty of time to try all sorts of new things.

The duo seems to operate on a unique brand of logic. Insane logic. They come to conclusions that most people would find completely out-of-nowhere. For example, upon being told that there are several angry mobsters killing people on the train, they immediately jump onboard a conclusion that they are in an adventure story. They encourage their cowardly friend Jacuzzi to be “Billy the Kid” and to feel their wave of enthusiasm. Isaac commits crimes under the idea that if he steal something, it now belongs entirely to him. Due to their odd logic, they can completely fail to realize the danger around them. When surrounded by people trying to kill them, they somehow come to the conclusion that the whole situation is an extended magic show. They also managed to spend 67 years living an exciting life before realizing they were immortal.

However, they do have some interesting intellect. They share a vast knowledge regarding Japanese culture.

The lovers are completely dedicated to one other. They spend every waking moment together, enjoying the life they’ve made. They commit robberies in various, ridiculous, matching outfits. They constantly have little side discussions right in front of the people they’re talking about.

Their discussions tend to deviate toward a teacher-student side. Isaac will explain some sort of nonsense theory, or plan. Miria will follow up with confirming his thoughts with rampant gushing or (rarely) additional thoughts. Sometimes, even she will note when he's gone too far off the road and reel him back in. This suggests that despite their enormous similarities, Miria is the more logical of the duo, if only slightly. While Isaac was busy in Alcatraz, a few thoughts indicate she discovered the creator of the Elixir of Life when she wasn't distracted. Her imprisonment by the Nebula Corporation is portrayed as much more serious than Isaac's stint in Alcatraz, due to her knowledge that she was in direct danger.

An admirable quality in the duo is their ability to make friend with everyone they meet. This is helped by their incredible compassion and their attempts to cheer up anyone who’s feeling down. They remain loyal to the dearest and nearest of friends, no matter the cost.

Any differences: The key difference between the reincarnated duo and the originals, is that these two understand and care about normality. They want people to like them and they especially don't want to put anyone off. They have a deep need for love and affection. While they are happy to have each other, their need for love and fear of losing it can cause them to engage in self-destructive behavior. This fear puts a strain on their relationship. They want their partner to stay close, but they also don't want to smother and force each other away. This same attitude prevails in their relationship with friends.

Despite their fear of rejection, they love the wonders of the world, if only on a subconscious level. In order to experience life as much as possible while still earning a living, they opened an antiquities store. There, they collect and sell the various knick-knacks and oddities the people of Locke City have to offer.

They tend to be clueless about pretty much everything. Concepts such as pram aging their funds or organization seem to fly over their heads. Isaac is easily distracted by a new project or toy, and Miria spaces out on a semi-frequent basis. Due to this, their business seems to be permanently stuck in financial trouble.

Their attempts to look normal usually make them appear even more strange, due to their heavy backtracking after an idiotic comment. They're hesitant to start conversations, seem to retreat from social situations and are easily flustered. However, they quickly warm up to others once they get to know them.

While Isaac tends to be inept, he has a spark of deductive reasoning. Every now and then, he picks up on a clue or two. If the facts are layed out in front of him, he might be able to piece some things together. Miria has a talent for building things. Mainly, sewing disguises, sets, or other little props. She uses this talent for advertisement purposes.

Abilities: Since drinking the Elixir of Life, Isaac and Miria have effectively become immortal. Every wound they will receive immediately heals whether it be cuts, bruises, stab wounds, or whatever.

They also have an incredible amount of luck. They escaped numerous dangerous situations without major injuries, disregarding their regenerative capabilities. Isaac also has an impressive knowledge of asian stories and legends, which Miria seems to have picked up. Both of them can fluently speak Japanese.

Their friendly nature makes them very charismatic and tend of “sprinkle happiness without knowing.” This causes them to make many friends along the course of their journeys.
Roleplay Sample – Third Person: A meme thread here.
Roleplay Sample - Network:
[The network opens on a woman with shoulder-length, blonde hair in what appears to be a bathroom.  A towel covers her chest. Her hand is outstretched toward the net, before suddenly pulling back. Her eyes widen and her jaw drops. Then she races out of the network's visibility.

After about a minute, she returns with a brown-haired man. They both examine the video in their mirror with curiosity.
]

This... This...

It has to be a hallucination... or something...

Exactly! This sort of thing... It just doesn't happen!

All part of our imagination!

[Satisfied, they leave the bathroom.

After a minute, Isaac returns to take a peek at the... thing in his mirror.
]

It's just... not normal...

[After a moment, another feed pops up. Miria stares back at Isaac from another mirror.]

This is...

Completely insane...
Any questions? Do these two need separate info posts and echoes?
